What is Aviat'R?
At Aviat'R, our mission is to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and facilities required to fuel their love for aeronautics. We strive to pioneer new Unmanned Aerial Systems that encapsulate “tomorrow” and compete for the top among other universities. We are dedicated to the craft of UAS and will make our mark on the world. Our commitment to excellence, edgenuity, and intelligence drives us to continuously innovate and lead the way in new and improved systems.
Project Puffin
Project Puffin aims at giving those interested in but without a background in aeronautics the general know-how of drones. By the end of the 2 unit class, students will be able to assemble their own drones and understand the parts and basic theory behind them.
Hummingbird
Project Hummingbird is a research team aimed at improving existing systems or creating new processes and mechanisms to pioneer the future. With the current team aimed at improving drone swarm/show technology, among a number of other projects in the works, Hummingbird stands at the forefront to jump from flower to flower of knowledge.
Eagle
Eagle is a select team that competes with universities in the nation and make Aviat'R's name known. It participates in SUAS, a competition aimed at challenging students to make their own unmanned aerial systems to complete a specific task. This sparks innovation from competition and poses as one of the largest motivations for improvement in the student world.
